The Art and Science of CSS
A published author? In the Johnson family? Who woulda thunk it.
After meeting the super nice chaps from Sitepoint for beers in Collingwood after work one night, I was asked to be the 5th author on a book on CSS called The Art and Science of CSS. The challenge was certainly laid down when I picked the chapter on CSS backgrounds - you try writing 30+ pages on a single tag! Using some mock examples I think I illustrated various techniques effectively, even if the code was a bit sketchy at times.
Despite my "Fuck, it's due tomorrow" approach to writing, it was a very enjoyable experience and hope that one day I can contribute to another book on a subject I know inside out - like Futurama quotes, or Dylan Moran DVDs.
