A concept to re-evaluate how we read time.
This was my first entry to Microsoft's DevSta competition. The idea was to represent time as a grid of active and inactive blocks. The first column represents AM/PM, the second column represents hours, the third column represents minutes, and the fourth represents seconds. I was going to have a fifth column to represent milliseconds, but the CPU usage went through the roof while trying to update that many blocks at once. Whoops.
